Description
This is an extremely rare National Banknote. Munday ,Texas $10 #D000170A. Munday, TX - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The First NB Ch. # 7106 In the last Auction appearance of any known note, in an auction conducted by Heritage they stated: "This was one of two issuing banks in this small Knox County community, and the only one which is collectible, as the other is unreported to date. To say that notes from here are scarce is an understatement, as neither Everson or Irish had any examples from here in their collections. We sold this note to Jeff Poyer in 1986, and have not had the opportunity to handle a similar example since. Nice Fine, the kind of note that differentiates good collections from great collections." This is NOT the above mentioned note ---- It is a new find of similar condition. The current census only totals 3 small notes. At least one $20 and one $10 (the Heritage specimen) are known to exist.
